The conference tournaments are set to tip off, and while the top seeds look dominant, March is always full of surprises.

Today, we’re taking a closer look at the SEC and ACC tournaments to see how things might shake out.

🔥 SEC Tournament: Auburn Leads, Florida Surges

The SEC Tournament features a loaded field, with four teams projected as No. 1 or No. 2 seeds in the NCAA Tournament. It’s going to be extremely difficult for an underdog to break through, as there’s an 85% chance the champion comes from this elite group:

Auburn (1-seed) – 29% (SEC regular season champs but stumbled late)
Florida (2-seed) – 28% (Holds our highest average Game Score since Jan. 1)
Alabama (3-seed) – 16% (Explosive offense but up-and-down of late)
Tennessee (4-seed) – 12% (Dangerous team, but tough path ahead)
Kentucky (6-seed) – 5% (Most likely lower-seed threat, but dealing with injuries)
Texas A&M (5-seed) – 4% (Stumbled in Feb, then beat Auburn & LSU to close season)

What to Watch For:

Florida is peaking at the right time, but Auburn’s full-season dominance keeps them at the top.
Lower seeds (No. 9 and below) have almost no path to the title—winning five games in five days is brutal.
Kentucky and Arkansas are potential disruptors, but roster/injury concerns could hold them back.

👑 ACC Tournament: Duke’s to Lose?

The ACC Tournament has a clear favorite—Duke.

With 68% win odds, the Blue Devils own this tournament on paper. But could Louisville or Clemson make things interesting?

Duke (1-seed) – 68% (Heavy favorite—dominant all season)
Louisville (2-seed) – 12% (Peaking at the right time)
Clemson (3-seed) – 12% (Few losses outside of Duke matchups)
North Carolina (5-seed) – 5% (Tough draw but capable of a deep run)

What to Watch For:

It’s tough to bet against Duke; they have far and away the best odds to take the crown, but this is March… and anything can happen.
Louisville & Clemson are peaking; playing their best basketball at the right time.
North Carolina is a sleeper, but their bracket path makes a deep run unlikely.
